Bryan Mitchell picked up some confidence

Bryan Mitchell, the right-handed pitcher drafted in the 16th round this year, signed too late to get on the mound in the Gulf Coast League so he made his professional debut at Instructs. He admits now though that one of the things he learned there could take him a long way.

The right-handed pitcher from Rockingham County High School in North Carolina signed right at the deadline in August and as a result was unable to pitch for the Gulf Coast League Yankees this season, and had to wait until Instructs to get back on the mound.
