Paredes is an electrifying player

The Yankees signed shortstop Jimmy Paredes for $80,000 out of Haina in the Dominican Republic as part of their 'July 2nd' signing group in 2006. An ultra-toolsy player, he put up an All Star season with the Staten Island Yankees last year and he did it while coming back from shoulder surgery.
