Brackman is better than his numbers showed

The Yankees drafted pitcher Andrew Brackman in the first-round of the 2007 MLB Draft out of North Carolina State University. He struggled mightily in his professional debut season last year in what was also his first year back from Tommy John surgery. The overall numbers he posted were brutal but they didn't accurately reflect how well he was pitching by season's end.
