Heredia Hoping For Fresh Start

Heredia is back on the mound on Monday

Despite injuries in 2009, Jairo Heredia had a taste of success as he advanced from the GCL Yankees to Charleston, ultimately concluding the season with the Tampa Yankees. Breaking camp with Tampa this Spring, he experienced a rough start to the 2010 season. The young pitcher from the Dominican Republic is now back in Charleston to work on a few things with the hope of making a return to the FSL.

"Things didn't go the way I wanted them to. I was working very hard to make my pitches work well," Jairo Heredia explained through the help of a translator. "I just wasn't lucky."
