Joseph Slowing Things Down

For someone who leads his team in many offensive categories (RBI, AVG, doubles), Tampa Yankees second baseman Corban Joseph is quite modest when he talks about his game. When the Yankees drafted Joseph in the fourth round of the 2008 amateur draft, they may not have gotten a player with tremendous defensive skills, but they did get a kid with a good bat and a great work ethic.

"Every time you move up a level, you have to prove to yourself that you're supposed to be there, and I thought that," Corban Joseph said.
