Laird Keeps Proving He Belongs

Brandon Laird has put together a great first half, and as the month of June comes to a close, and the all-star break approaches, he is looking to make his final impression on scouts and team executives to make the final push to move up in the rankings. Even with a player who is making 33 million dollars standing in his way, he has proven that he has the stuff to be a legitimate top prospect.

The 22 year old third baseman from Cypress, CA has not performed like any other 27th round pick has ever performed. Between May and June, Brandon has batted .303 with 15 home runs and 62 RBI.
