Paredes Hitting His Stride

Paredes is hitting .342 in his last ten games

Jimmy Paredes has gotten into a groove with the RiverDogs' and has continued to show steady improvement throughout the season. While having somewhat of a slow start in April, he has only put up good numbers since. The switch-hitter has been working hard daily to improve his offensive game, doing all of the little things right.

"I've been taking a new approach with my swing and specifically working on loading," Jimmy Paredes explained with the assistance of a translator. "Also, I have been working on my strike zone discipline." Paredes admits that he feels a lot better at the plate than he did early on in the season and his statistics can attest to that.
