Taking the long road to the Minors is a tough task by anyone's standards. Just ask Staten Island's lefty, Nik Turley. After toiling through two years in Extended Spring Training, Turley has made a big impact in this early Staten Island season.

Not one to be deterred, the California native has welcomed any distance from Tampa and now finds himself as a reliable arm with the Staten Island team.
