Murton Working on His Stride

Luke Murton has been hot and cold all year for Charleston, and is now batting .286 through 74 games with the Riverdogs. The big 6-foot-4 inch, 222 pound first baseman has hit 26 doubles and knocked eight home runs and has accumulated 41 RBI's.

Murton's success this season has come on the road, where he's batting .343 with 48 hits in 37 games away from Joseph P. Riley, Jr Park in Charelston. At home, he's batting just .231 with only 33 hits, and only one of his home runs being hit at "The Joe."
