Burawa Going To Work

Mere weeks before the end of the season, the Staten Island Yankees are welcoming some of their late-signing draft picks into the fold. None of this is easy, the new recruits acknowledge their strange place in the larger scheme, joining a team that has already struggled through a sub-par season, as well as trying to win favor with their teammates and coaches as the days grow shorter.

But the Staten Island team also ushers in some serious talent with the new crop of players. Cito Culver, Rob Segedin and Daniel Burawa could be just what the Yankees need to make a push for the playoffs.
