The New York Yankees drafted left-handed pitcher Evan DeLuca in the 44th round of the 2009 MLB Draft out of Immaculata High School in New Jersey. Statistically it was a brutal professional debut season for him this year, but that helps disguise what is otherwise an extremely intriguing set of tools, including a Major League arm.
