David Shepard has gone from Clemson to Billings, to Charleston, to Burlington, to Newark, to Norwich, to Trenton, to Columbus in his career. Almost 9 years, two organizations and one Independent team later, Shepard continues to battle his way to the big leagues picking up more to add to the story of his baseball life along the way. Here is a man who idolized Doc Gooden, played with "Bam Bam" Meulens, and learned from the King, Jim Leyritz. Now who else has a story like that to tell?
