The Yankees drafted Damon Sublett in the 7th round of the 2007 MLB Draft out of Wichita State University. A combined .370 hitter in his last two years of college as well as a closer on the mound for the Shockers, the left-handed batter had one of the more impressive offensive seasons in Staten Island history this past season.
