Corban Joseph initially struggled at the plate with the Gulf Coast League Yankees this season but turned it around pretty quickly, hitting .354 for the month of July before settling down with a solid offensive performance overall. With many inside the organization confident in his hitting ability, the Yankees and Joseph will focus on his defensive work during the Instructional League season.
