The Yankees drafted right-handed pitcher Brett Marshall in the sixth round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Ross S. Sterling High School in Texas. Considered a first round talent by scouts and reportedly even discussed internally by the Yankees in the supplemental first round last season, he fell to them in the later rounds and the Yankees believe they got themselves a steal.
