Tampa, Fla. – In his first start, Jairo Heredia was the victim of faulty defensive play behind him; thus was tagged with the loss after giving up four runs, one earned, on five hits through four innings of work. Heredia struck out two and walked none. Location was the focus for Heredia, a Dominican Republic native, during Spring Training.
