Alabama


Desmond Debose
Quarterback, 6-3, 170 lbs.
Cottonwood

Debose completed 11-of-17 passing attempts in the 44-28 win over Providence Christian. The senior accounted for 268 yards through the air with four touchdowns. He also rushed for 87 yards and a score to keep his team a perfect 12-0.

Jameis Winston
Quarterback, 6-4, 190 lbs.
Hueytown

Winston is a standout in the recruiting game and this week did nothing to damage his reputation. The junior completed 12-of-17 pass attempts for 160 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 144 yards scoring on a 19-yard run in the fourth quarter to defeat reigning 5A champs Demopolis 28-14.

Jamaal Johnson
Defensive Back, 6-1, 195 lbs.
Piedmont

Johnson caught six passes for 90 yards in the 28-21 win against Cordova. He caught two touchdown passes of four and 25 yards. The senior also ran for a five-yard touchdown. Defensively, Johnson made 14 tackles, recovered a fumble and sealed the game with an interception.

Quinton Royal
Linebacker, 5-10, 200 lbs.
Anniston

Anniston, better known as the 'cardiac kids', made another incredible comeback from a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Oneonta 34-31 and advance to the third round of the state playoffs. The senior rushed for three touchdowns including the go-ahead score. He also made 11 tackles with two for a loss of yards and had a pass breakup.

Josiah Atkins
Quarterback, 6-0, 180 lbs.
Anniston

Atkins led the Bulldogs comeback offensively with a 292 all-purpose performance. The senior completed 19-of-27 pass attempts for 210 yards and rushed for 82 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown.

Austin Crowe
Fullback, 6-0, 180 lbs.
Parrish

Crowe carried the ball only 11 times in the 64-34 win over Marion County. He scored on five of those carries rushing for 279 yards. The senior scored on runs of 75, 34, 51, 88 and 6 yards.

Alonzo Harris
Running Back, 6-1, 210 lbs.
Gadsden City

Harris rushed for 210 yards on 28 carries in the 23-21 win over Oxford. The senior scored on runs of 70 and 6 yards. He has a bucket full of scholarship offers.

Michael Lindsey
Athlete, 5-10, 175 lbs.
Elba

Lindsey has stepped in for an injured quarterback and this is bad news for the opposition since he will touch the ball on every snap. It was certainly bad news for Southern Choctaw in their 33-14 loss to Elba. The junior rushed for 206 yards scoring on runs of 78, 4 and 40 yards. He attempted one pass which was completed to Sandrius Reed for a 21-yard touchdown.

Brandon Bender
Quarterback/Defensive Back, 5-10, 170 lbs.
McCalla-McAdory

Bender led McAdory to a 16-14 win over Pleasant Grove completing six-of-nine pass attempts for 117 yards. The senior also scored on a four-yard run and picked off two passes on defense.

Justin McArthur
Running Back, 5-9, 175 lbs.
Hoover

It is hard to overstate how important McArthur's performances are to the Bucs. This week the senior fought for 166 yards on 33 carries. The back scored on runs of one and 13 yards in the 30-10 win over rival Spain Park.

Kyle Caldwell
Quarterback, 5-8, 150 lbs.
Dadeville

Caldwell is on the smallish side, but he plays huge. The senior completed 16-of-23 pass attempts for 203 yards scoring on a 30-yard strike. He also rushed for 47 yards on seven carries scoring on an 18-yard run. Caldwell also kicked a 39-yard field goal and caught the game ending interception in the 32-26 win over Jemison.

Arkansas


A.J. Turner
Wide Receiver-Safety, 6-3, 170 lbs.
East Poinsett County

Turner had a whopping 25 tackles and also rushed 12 times for 87 yards while continuing a standout junior season as EPC downed Conway Christian 46-38.

Brandon Allen
Quarterback, 6-3, 215 lbs.
Fayetteville

Although the Arkansas commitment (senior) suffered his first interception this season and his first in 310 passes, he led his team to a 23-7 win over North Little Rock by completing 17-of-32 passes for 145 yards while topping the 9,000-yard mark for career passing yardage.

Brice Gahagans
Tailback, 5-9, 175 lbs.
Fayetteville

A sophomore standout, Gahagans rushed 18 times for 86 yards and three touchdowns in his team's 23-7 win over North Little Rock. He has rushed for 833 yards this season despite missing a couple of games with injuries.

Kiehl Frazier
Quarterback, 6-3, 215 lbs.
Springdale-Shiloh Chrisitian

The Auburn pledge did his best Cam Newton impression by rushing 10 times for 109 yards, completing 8-of-13 passes for 188 yards. The senior accounted for four touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Warren.

Garrett Harper
Tailback, 5-10, 190 lbs.
Springdale-Shiloh Christian

Harper rushed eight times for 89 yards and two scores. The senior also caught two passes for 48 yards in the win.

Devincio Hawthorne
Tailback, 5-10, 170 lbs.
Nashville

Hawthorne rushed for 21 times for 159 yards and three touchdowns, and the senior also hauled in four passes for 49 yards while leading Nashville past Gentry 51-20 on Friday night.

Zach T. Davis
Quarterback, 6-1, 180 lbs.
Harrisburg

Davis completed 23-of-33 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns as the senior led Harrisburg over Arkansas Baptist 32-21 in the first round the Class 3A state playoffs.

Tyler Spoon
Quarterback, 5-11, 185 lbs.
Van Buren

The recent Arkansas baseball signee was 10-of-12 passing for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns and also ran for another as the Pointers downed Benton 41-14 and broke a 14-year state playoff winless streak.

Stephen Hogan
Quarterback, 6-4, 200 lbs.
Greenwood

The Arkansas State commitment completed 14-of-19 passes for two touchdowns and also rushed 13 times for 161 yards and two more in a 55-18 win over Forrest City.

Justin Sunde
Tailback, 5-10, 160 lbs.
Greenwood

Sunde rushed 17 times for 140 yards and three touchdowns and caught five passes for 88 yards and another score in the win over Forrest City.

Ryan McDonald
Running Back, 5-11, 180 lbs.
Charleston

McDonald rushed 12 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns as the senior and Charleston rebounded from its first conference loss since 2006 to down Smackover 42-0 in the first round of the state playoffs.

Raphael Caldwell
Tailback, 5-10, 160 lbs.
Rison

Rock Caldwell prolonged his senior season by rushing for 123 yards and four touchdowns as Rison rolled over Yellville-Summitt 48-0.

Fredi Knighten

Little Rock-Pulaski Academy

The junior quarterback was 13-of-17 passing for 224 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another – all in the opening half – as Pulaski Academy routed Farmington 42-12.

Junction City

Larry had 170 of his 196 yards rushing by halftime, and the senior had four TDs as the Dragons roared past Mountainburg 51-3.

The unbeaten Bearcats (11-0) rode the strength of their senior running back as Tatterson piled up 139 yards and 3 touchdowns on 18 carries and also had 2 of his team's 5 sacks in a 35-7 win over Newport.

Hackett

Ray was 9-of-12 passing for 200 yards and four touchdowns, and the senior also ran for a score in leading his team to a 40-28 win over Hazen.

Autrey Allen

Earle

The sophomore had more than 200 all-purpose yards while returning two punts for touchdowns and also scoring on TD runs of 65 and 50 in a 56-6 win over Lamar.

J.B. Woodman
Quarterback, 6-3, 180 lbs.
Orlando-Edgewater

Woodman and his Edgewater team won the 59th edition of the "Battle for the Barrel" with a 34-14 win over Boone. The sophomore signal caller passed for 298 yards and tossed three touchdowns to his go-to receiver Alton Howard.

Orlando-Edgewater

Howard caught three touchdowns passes of 8, 25 and 46 yards in the win over Boone. Howard's eight-yard score came after a 70-yard reception on the previous play. This junior is impressive with his do-it-all skills and the Woodman/Howard duo is one to watch in the playoffs.

James Wilder
Running Back, 6-3, 220 lbs.
Tampa-Plant

Wilder rushed for 162 yards on 23 carries in Plant's 40-21 win over Robinson. The senior and FSU commitment scored on runs of 3, 6 and 14 yards in the win.

Timothy Bellinger

Miami Beach

Bellinger rushed for 231 yards in the 26-10 win over South Miami. The freshman scored three touchdowns in the win.

Stephen Jackson
Running Back, 5-10, 175 lbs.
New Smyrna Beach

Jackson had a career night rushing for 176 yards in the 28-6 win over 6A Spruce Creek. The senior scored on runs of 1, 15 and 90 yards.

Cameron McCurry
Linebacker, 5-11, 195 lbs.
Orange Park-Fleming Island

McCurry returned an interception for a 40-yard score in the 33-7 win over Orange Park. The junior also recovered a fumble and recorded a sack in the victory.

D.J. Stewart
Rinning Back, 5-11, 225 lbs.
Jacksonville-Bolles

Stewart rushed for 180 yards, scoring four touchdowns when Bolles dismantled 6A Olympia 49-14. The junior's team finished the regular season undefeated heading to the state championship playoffs.

Andre Allen
Running Back, 5-9, 175 lbs.
Panama City-Arnold

Allen rushed for 220 yards on 18 carries scoring three touchdowns in the 47-18 win over Mosley. That puts the junior with more than 2,100 yards for the season.

Eddie Williams
Athlete, 6-4, 205 lbs.
Panama City-Arnold

Williams, a junior and University of Alabama commitment, blocked two extra point attempts, blocked a punt and returned a punt 77-yards for a touchdown in the win.

Steward Butler
Running Back, 5-9, 165 lbs.
Lakeland

Butler rushed for 231 yards on 18 carries in the 47-20 win over Kathleen. The senior scored on runs of 48, 61 and 55 yards. He also caught a 16-yard pass.

Jeremy Donaldson
Running Back, 5-11, 175 lbs.
Hollywood Hills

Donaldson needed only 210 yards to break the school's season rushing record. He accomplished it when he rushed for 214 yards in a 63-14 win over McArthur. The junior scored four touchdowns in the win. He has 1,625 yards on the season.

Coconut Creek-Monarch

Hoggins rushed for 161 yards in the 42-13 win over West Broward. The sophomore rushed for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth on an 86-yard kick return.

Javan Shashaty

Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian

Shashaty completed 27-of-37 pass attempts for 459 yards in the 52-36 win over Somerset. The junior tossed five touchdown passes.

Bell (senior) had 250 yards passing and was 14-of-27 in the 44-3 win against Perry. Chisum (senior) had 185 yards on eight receptions in the win.

Alpharetta-Chattahoochee

Byerly (senior) was 11-of-15 passing for 200 yards and four scores, and he added two additional touchdowns on 185 yards rushing in the 42-14 win against Pope.

Landon Curtis

Calhoun

Curtis had 328 yards passing going 21-of-32 and four touchdowns. He also added a rsuhing touchdown in the 44-8 win against Manchester.

Kyle Karempelis

Norcross-Wesleyan

Karempelis (senior) had 100 yards rushing and two scores which was 87 yards more than needed to eclipse the 5,000 career yards in the win against Warren County, 48-13.

Kay (senior) defeated Thomas County Central behind the strength of his leg scoring all points in the 15-0 win with kicks from 42, 30, 56, 24 and 51 yards.

Powder Springs-Hillgrove

Henry (senior) had two passing touchdowns on 247 yards and added another score on the 140 yards rushing in the 28-23 win against Stephenson.

Roswell

Long (senior) booted a 52-yard field goal on the last play of the game to defeat Parkview 29-27.

Ashely Lowery
Running Back, 6-2, 195 lbs.
Cleveland-White County

Lowery (senior) had three touchdowns on the 20 carries with 150 yards. The kentucky commitment blocked an extra point attempt and punched in a score on a fouth-and-one play to defeat LaGrange 28-20.

Martay Mattox
Quarterback, 6-1, 185 lbs.
Athens-Clarke Central

Mattox (senior) was 16-of-25 with three scores on the 200 yards in the 52-31 win against Mays. The signal caller is a South Carolina commitment.

Kent Rollins
Quarterback, 6-0, 175 lbs.
Snellville-South Gwinnett

Rollins (senior) used his arm and legs to defeat West Forsyth, 31-7. The signal caller had three scores passing on 228 yads and added 115 yards rushing bringing his season total to 22 touchdowns and 2,081 yards.

John Russ
Quarterback, 6-1, 215 lbs.
Hoschton-Mill Creek

Russ had a record-setting night in passing yardage going 19-0f-26 for 319 yards and two touchdowns. He added another score on the ground in the 32-7 win against Etowah.

Smith (senior) touched the ball 14 times for 230 yards and three scores in the 26-6 win against Troup.

Thomas (senior) had three touchdowns on the 256 yards passing in the 28-16 win against Washington County. Willis (sophomore) was pulled up from junior varisty and had an impressive showing with four receptions for 147 yards and one score.

Danville-Boyle County

Senior linebacker Lamar Dawson is on state championship favorite, Boyle County's squad. Dawson helped Boyle County romp over East Jessamine Friday night in the second round of the playoffs, 56-11. Dawson had eight carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Travis Wright
Quarterback, 6-1 185 lbs.
Louisville-Trinity

Trinity continued to roll over opponents with their 48-13 win over DuPont Manual in the second round of the playoffs. Sophomore quarterback Travis Wright completed 19-of-27 passes for 295 yards and four scores to lead the Shamrocks to a win.

J.J. Jude
Running Back, 5-11 175 lbs.
Paintsville-Johnson Central

J.J. Jude has been running all over the field this season, and the junior continued that trend in Johnson Central's 41-28 win over Covington Catholic Friday. Jude had 37 carries for 439 yards and five touchdowns in the victory.

Chad Lawrence
Quarterback, 6-0, 175 lbs.
Independence-Simon Kenton

Senior Chad Lawrence carried Simon Kenton to a 21-19 victory over Henry Clay on Friday night. Lawrence was 12 of 23 through the air for 172 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed 18 times for 109 yards.

Jeffrey Canady
Wide Receiver, 6-1, 191 lbs.
Barbourville-Knox Central

Knox Central bumped off favored Rowan County Friday night in the playoffs, 49-36. Sophomore Jeffrey Canady put on a show, rushing 18 times for 203 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.

Adam Wing
Quarterback, 6-3, 195 lbs.
Morehead-Rowan County

Adam Wing finished his season Friday night in a loss to Knox Central in the second round of the playoffs. Wing went out fighting, going 28-of-35 for 313 yards and two touchdowns.

Travis Elliott
Running Back, 5-11, 207 lbs.
Union-Ryle

Junior running back Travis Elliott helped Ryle run by Campbell County 38-14 in the second round of the playoffs. Elliott rushed 24 times for 187 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Zeke Pike
Quarterback, 6-4, 230 lbs.
Ft. Mitchell-Dixie Heights

Dixie Heights finished up their season Friday night, falling to state championship favorite Fort Thomas Highlands 35-21. Pike was outstanding, completing 20-of-32 passes for 272 yards for two touchdowns. Pike also rushed for 49 yards and another touchdown.

Daylen Hall
Defensive Back, 5-9, 190 lbs.
Louisville-St. Xavier

Daylen Hall, a senior defensive back and kentucky commitment, had a strong all-around game Friday night in their victory. Hall rushed for two touchdowns in the game and also returned a punt 58 yards for a score. Hall also picked off a pass in the endzone to keep his team from going down 21-0 in the first half.

DeVante Parker
Wide Receiver, 6-3, 190 lbs.
Louisville-Ballard

DeVante Parker finished up his high school career Friday night in a 42-21 defeat. The Louisville commitment caught six passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns. For the season Parker had 68 catches for 1,793 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Jerrell Moore
Running Back, 5-11, 175 lbs.
Fern Creek

Louisville commitment had a strong game in his final contest at Fern Creek. The Tigers fell to Henderson County 56-35. Moore rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat.

Seth Carmichael
Quarterback, 6-1, 175 lbs.
Lawrenceburg-Anderson County

Junior quarterback Seth Carmichael helped carried a powerful Anderson County offense to a big win over Bullitt Central on Friday night, 42-7. Carmichael completed 20 of 25 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns.

Louisiana


Kenny Hilliard
Running Back, 6-foot, 238 lbs.
Patterson

Hilliard's weekend was arguably one of the biggest in Louisiana for the opening round of the playoffs. In Patterson's 49-14 win over Abbeville, Hilliard rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns to become the state's career rushing leader. Hilliard, a senior, has given a commitment to LSU.

Anthony Johnson
Defensive Tackle, 6-2, 296 lbs.
New Orleans-O.P. Walker

Johnson, who became the state's career sack leader two weeks ago, turned out one of the best games of his senior campaign, totaling 13 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. O.P. Walker secured a 34-6 win over Minden in the process. The senior is also a commitment to LSU.

Alonzo Lewis
Athlete, 6-3, 210 lbs.
St. James

The Wing-T offense hasn't provided Alonzo Lewis with many chances at a breakout game on offense, but Friday's 24-23 loss to Loranger saw the LSU commitment piled up 136 yards receiving and a touchdown. Playing safety on defense, the senior had two tackles and an interception.

Terry Lucas
Quarterback, 6-1, 190 lbs.
New Orleans-St. Augustine

St. Augustine moved past Catholic 53-43 thanks in part to senior quarterback Terry Lucas, who hit on 11-of-12 passes for 282 yards and five touchdowns while rushing 19 times for 126 yards.

Leonard Fournette
Running Back, 5-11, 220 lbs.
New Orleans-St. Augustine

Terry Lucas wasn't the only Purple Knight to post big numbers last Saturday night against Catholic. Freshman running back Leonard Fournette - who has picked up an offer from LSU in only his first year of varsity football, ran for a season-high 277 yards against the Bears defense. He finished the night with three touchdowns.

Daniel Taylor
Running Back, 5-9, 170 lbs.
Lutcher

Jarvis Landry is Lutcher's undisputed star, but it was junior Daniel Taylor who carried the Bulldogs to 10-1 with 186 yards on nine carries that turned out four touchdowns - which he scored on runs of 23, 20, 52 and 52 yards. The junior has scholarship offers from Auburn, Tennessee and Southern Miss.

Bradley Sylve
Wide Receiver, 5-11, 180 lbs.
Port Sulpher-South Plaquemines

Alabama commitment Bradley Sylve broke out for one of the better game's of his senior year in South Plaquemines 51-6 first-round win over False River. Sylve gained 220 yards on eight carries and scored three touchdowns on runs of 26, 34 and 72 yards.

Odell Beckham
Wide Receiver, 5-11, 175 lbs.
New Orleans-Newman

Newman's 35-27 win over Port Barre was driven by Odell Beckham, who grabbed all three of Ryan Brenner's first-half touchdown passes and finished the game with 11 catches for 133 yards. The senior, who has an offer list well into the double-digits, is down to LSU and Miami.

North Carolina


Josh Taylor
Quarterback, 6-0, 165 lbs.
New Bern

Taylor (sophomore) had two touchdowns passing with 207 yards and scored two more times on the ground in the 32-22 win against JH Rose.

Garrett Crowe
Quarterback, 5-11, 165 lbs.
Havelock

Crowe (junior) had five touchdown passes in the 55-28 win against Currituck.

Connor Mitch
Quarterback, 6-3, 195 lbs.
Raleigh-Wakefield

Mitch (sophomore) had three touchdown passes going 18-of-41 for the night for 299 yards in the 31-28 win against Laney.

T.J. Thorpe
Wide Receiver, 6-0, 180 lbs.
Durham-Jordan

Thorpe (senior) had more than 200 yards receiving after intermission with two scores. The North Carolina commitment's squad came up short in the 36-28 loss to Seventy First.

Marquis Williams

Charlotte-Mallard Creek

Williams (senior) went 14-of-15 tossing five touchdowns with the 257 yards to defeat Olympic, 56-0. Williams is a North Carolina commitment.

Justus Pickett
Running Back, 5-10, 173 lbs.
Charlotte-Ardrey Kell

Pickett (senior) had 280 yards and four touchdowns in the 35-10 win against South Mecklenburg. This pushes his season total to more than 2,500 yards.

Marc Harris

Harris (senior) had 279 yards passing going 12-of-22 in the 14-3 win against South Caldwell.

Vad Lee
Quarterback, 6-2, 210 lbs.
Durham-Hillside

Lee (senior) had 165 yards passing with three scores and added close to 100 yards rushing with two additional scores in the 46-0 win against Southeast Guilford. Lee is a Georgia Tech commitment.

John John Papillion
Running Back, 5-8, 165 lbs.
Morehead City-West Carteret

Papillion (senior) has more than 1,900 yards in 12 games which includes the 119 yards last Friday on 18 carries in the 20-13 win against Nash Central.

Michael Helms
Quarterback, 6-3, 175 lbs.
Morganton-Freedom

Helms (junior) had four touchdowns with more than 300 yards passing to defeat Enka, 44-21.

Marcus Hankins
Running Back, 5-9, 170 lbs.
Southport-South Brunswick

Hankins (senior) had three rushing touchdowns with his 250 yards and scored another touchdown on a reception in the 39-7 win against Washington.

Corn Elder (sophomore) had four scores in the 304 yards rushing to defeat Montgomery Bell Academy 35-14. His season stats total 1,566 yards and 22 scores.

Christian Academy Knoxville (CAK)

Epperly (senior) had a monster game to defeat Polk County 28-21 going 35-of-45 and one score with 378 yards.

Tra'Darius Goff
Running Back, 5-11, 225 lbs.
Columbia Central

Goff (senior) had four touchdowns on the 162 yards rushing in the 34-23 win against Knoxville Catholic.

Raquis Hale

South Pittsburg

Hale (senior) had a dozen touches for 235 yards rushing and three scores in the 49-14 win against Moore County.

Hibbett (junior) had four touchdowns in the 48-45 overtime win against Scott gaining more than 200 yards on 18 touches. Hibbett also scored the touchdown in overtime.

Huesman (senior) had a monster night in the 28-14 win. The all-purpose athlete had 270 yards rushing and two scores, and he added another 135 yards passing and one score.
