Marshall was up in the zone in the season opener

TAMPA, FL - A pitcher who is willing to learn and make adjustments in a positive direction is what accurately describes pitcher Brett Marshall. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound pitcher entered Spring Training with a goal of wanting to pitch at a high efficiency and came out of camp feeling strong.

"I finally started to learn how to pitch, I really felt like I was throwing the ball well again," Brett Marshall said. He brought in the same regimen of pitches from 2010 into this year's Spring Training while he worked with Tampa pitching coach, Jeff Ware, on adjusting and sharpening his mechanics.
