Duran Getting His Feet Wet

Fresh off signing his first professional contract, the New York Yankees fourth-round selection in this year's MLB Draft, Matt Duran, has been playing in the Gulf Coast League where he has started to get his feet wet and already showing signs of success and improvement.

Duran was drafted as a high school third basemen out of New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, New York. He also played for Hanks Yanks in past years, a team that is sponsored by Hank Steinbrenner who is the General Partner of the New York Yankees, and the New York Yankees area code team.
