Good First Step for Mitchell

CHARLESTON, SC - Selected by the Yankees in the 16th round of the 2009 draft, Bryan Mitchell is projected to go beyond the usual expectations of a mid round draft pick. Last year, he ranked third in the New York-Penn League with an average of 8.61 strikeouts per nine innings and he is looking to continue his dominance this year as a starting pitcher for the Charleston RiverDogs.
