Turley is dealing with a blister

TAMPA, FL - If one word could describe the last month for Nik Turley it would be frustration. For this tall 22-year-old left-hander, it's not mechanics or arm issues but instead a nagging blister on his throwing hand that has caused him to land on the 7-Day disabled list for the second time this month.

Turley was pulled from his start on May 18th after pitching just three innings because of the injury. "I wasn't locating as well as I wanted to be and my curveball was getting there but it wasn't there as consistently as I wanted it to be," he said.
