Mesa Easing His Way Back

Mesa is hitting .276 since May 1st

With a completion of 20 games straight of arm stiffness arm that kept him out of action, Melky Mesa continues to improve his overall game, raising his total batting average and recently getting back into the outfield.

"It's just arm stiffness," Mesa said when asked about his current injury. "[I'm doing] rehab and physical therapy. I'm working hard to get better. I'm feeling better than before."
