A Healthy Bleich Is Making His Way Back

Bleich's velocity is creeping back up

STATEN ISLAND, NY - Yankees' 2008 supplemental first round pick, Jeremy Bleich, impressed people early with his performances on the mound. He has since struggled to come back from shoulder surgery in 2010, but now a healthy Bleich has returned to the Baby Bombers and is back on the mound in Staten Island. His focus is on staying healthy and regaining comfort on the mound.

"I want to say I started pitching again maybe in the beginning or middle of May. I started getting in games down in the GCL," Bleich said. "It's a great feeling to be back in the competition."
