Adams Finding The Barrel

TRENTON, NJ - Trenton Thunder second baseman David Adams has 26 RBIs through 44 games this year. Nearly half of those RBIs have come in the last week-and-a-half. Since June 27, Adams has been blistering baseballs at a torrid pace, hitting .425 (17-40) with eight runs, three homers, three doubles and 10 RBIs.

"I think I'm just trying to kind of lighten the load a little bit and not do too much," Adams said. "…I'm still not where I want to be, that's for sure. I think there are still a lot of improvements to be made. But, we're making strides in the right direction."
