Murphy has come a very long way defensively

The New York Yankees selected catcher J.R. Murphy out of The Pendleton School in Florida in the second round of the 2009 MLB Draft. Considered an offensive talent when he was selected, he has really come a long way on the defensive side of the ball to the point where he is considered nearly big league ready.
