InsidePitchMagazine.com: Tell us what it feels like to be selected by the Mets? Dominic Smith: The feeling is one of the best feelings I've ever had. I'm just excited and happy and very, very relieved and I can't wait until I can finally get out there and play. InsidePitchMagazine.com: Talk about your game a little bit. What type of player are you and how do you see yourself fitting in with the Mets? Smith: My type of game, I'm hard working and I play hard every day, day in and day out and I'm a good defender. I see myself as an exciting player. I can play good defense, hit for average, hit for power, and throw.
