Aldrich had a multi-hit game in his pro debut

STATEN ISLAND, NY - Daniel Aldrich was a surprising non-drafted signee late last summer for the Yankees out of the College of Charleston despite the fact that he led all Division I college freshmen with 22 home runs in his inaugural college season. He's been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for his official professional debut season this year with the Staten Island Yankees.

"I'm really excited for this season, it's a dream come true," Aldrich said. "I have been waiting a while in Extended [Spring Training camp] and it's going to be fun to play in a real organized game."
