Gamel Continues To Progress

TAMPA, FL - Tampa Yankees outfielder Ben Gamel won't stop 'till he gets enough. Well, at least until he gets to second base. The 21-year-old outfielder, after hitting 23 doubles for Charleston in 2012, already has 24 doubles this year, which ranks tied for fourth in the Florida State League and first on the team.

"There has been some ups and downs," Gamel said of his season thus far. "I've just been trying to stay as steady as possible." Gamel has been as steady as they come for the Tampa team this year.
