Webb Taking The Next Step

Batters are hitting just .139 off of Webb

CHARLESTON, SC - And he's back! Left-handed pitcher Jon "Tyler" Webb, who played for the University of South Carolina before making his way to Staten Island, has returned to his home grounds of South Carolina to play with the Charleston RiverDogs. "It feels really good to be here; it's good to be back south and a little closer to home," the 6-foot-6, 225-pounder said of his return. This year's tenth round pick hasn't made a whole lot of appearances just yet -- just four with Staten Island and just three with Charleston so far -- but with 18 strikeouts in his first ten professional innings and less than one base runner per inning...
