Mitchell's cutter was impressive at Instructs

Right-hander Bryan Mitchell has always had some of the best pure stuff in the entire Yankee organization and that's including the big league club. He had not really put it all together though and the results simply were not there, especially in Tampa earlier this season. However, he has been working on a brand new cutter and lately things are beginning to come together more as a result.

Boasting a mid-90s fastball and a plus curveball wasn't enough for Mitchell in the Florida State League this year as he posted just a 4-11 record and a 5.12 ERA for the Tampa Yankees.
