Austin Ready To Start Working

TAMPA, FL - Trenton outfielder Tyler Austin has been more of a spectator in Spring Training camp thus far as he continues to rest the sore wrist that has plagued him since last season. With a little more than a week left in camp though, he says he is ready to start working again.

"The wrist is better," he said. "It's been a long process but it's finally starting to feel like it's 100 percent. I'm just ready to get back in games." Austin, who was standing in the batter's box during various bullpen sessions on Wednesday to get used to seeing live pitching again, has yet to step into the box where he was able to swing the bat in actual games.
