Sanchez Expects To Be Better

It was a disappointing season for catcher Gary Sanchez last year even his own standards after he hit just a combined .253 between the two-A ball levels. With the new season getting ready to start this coming week and seemingly headed to Double-A Trenton, Sanchez says he expects to be better in 2014.

He played well over in big league camp in limited opportunities this Spring, hitting a robust .364 and slugging a pair of home runs in just eleven at-bats for the Yankees. "I feel good, I feel like I did a good job over there just showing what I'm capable of doing," Sanchez said through the help of a translator.
