Mullee reportedly has been promoted to Charleston

STATEN ISLAND, NY - Conor Mullee is attempting to play through his first full baseball season in nearly three years. With Staten Island he’s been coming out of the bullpen, making 14 appearances, and proving to everyone that the Yankees’ belief in him has not been without merit.

Returning from three different surgeries, Mullee has been rather dominant on the mound in 2014. He has pitched 22.1 innings, striking out 28, walking eight, and surrendering no home runs – all to the tune of a 2.01 earned run average and a .192 opposing batting average. “I feel great,” Mullee said. “It’s great being back out there, finally getting a full season of being healthy.
