Duncan Out to Prove Critics Wrong

Duncan has seven RBI during his 8-game hit streak

When Eric Duncan was drafted straight out of high school in 2003, scouts from around the country were touting him as the next great Yankee power hitter. Four years later, Duncan still finds himself at Triple-A. Many scouts and fans have already claimed that Duncan is a so-called "bust" at this point in his career. But, when talking to the young first baseman, criticism really doesn't bother him.

"People have always doubted me ", Eric Duncan. "What people have said about me has, however, never been what's driven me to be a better player. That comes from inside of me and the support I get from my intermediate family members. So, I've never really cared what other people have said about me outside of my family."
