Stoneburner Hitting His Spots

Stoneburner continues to pitch very well

After being brought up from the Charleston RiverDogs last week, Graham Stoneburner looks to be a promising young pitcher for the Tampa Yankees. The 435th overall pick in the 14th round of the 2009 draft has made tremendous strides from the college level to the Florida State League as his value to the organization continues to increase.

In his Tampa Yankees debut, Graham Stoneburner struck out seven batters in six innings. He allowed two runs on only two hits, while walking one. "I just came out and tried to throw strikes as much as I could and keep the ball down," Stoneburner said.
