Romine Showing He is All-Star Material

Austin Romine has been considered one of the Yankees top prospects since he was drafted second in the 2007 Amateur Draft, and within a week he has been named to two mid season all-star teams. He has earned one of the biggest honors a minor league player can earn, a trip to the Futures Game, which will be held in Anaheim on July 11th, two days prior to the MLB All-Star Game.

This game is different, however, as Austin Romine grew up just 19 miles away from Angels Stadium. "It means a lot to me, and a lot to my family," said the soft-spoken Romine with a smile. "I can't wait, I have like fifty people coming to the game, it's just a great."
